Hartashen Megalithic Avenue, hidden deep in the rugged terrain of Armenia, is one of the world’s forgotten ancient wonders. Researchers have made an exciting discovery at White Sands National Park in New Mexico, revealing ancient human footprints and drag marks that date back approximately 22,000 years. This finding may be the earliest evidence of land transport technology, predating the wheel by around 17,000 years. The evidence, which includes both footprints and distinctive grooves in the sediment, indicates that Ice Age humans likely used a travois—an early sled-like apparatus made of wooden poles—to haul heavy items long before the advent of wheeled transport. Modern experiments have demonstrated that the marks left by a travois closely resemble those found at White Sands, supporting the idea that early North Americans developed effective methods for moving goods. A 37-year-old man with a criminal record allegedly raped a second-year engineering student of Chennai's Anna University on campus after filming her with a male friend and trying to blackmail them with the footage.
